The Missouri Department of Agriculture says producers should file a claim with the USDA if they haven’t received a payment from Schubert Livestock Sales in southwestern Missouri.
MDA says there’s a concern the sale barn hasn’t fulfilled its obligations to pay producers and under the Packers and Stockyards Act, producers have 60 days from the sale date to submit a claim.
