Dry conditions continue to have an effect on the crops in South Dakota.
In the latest Crop Progress and Conditions report, USDA says soybean conditions are rated 47% good to excellent, a slight decline from the previous week with 7% of soybeans blooming, ahead of average. South Dakota’s corn conditions are rated 47% good to excellent.
Spring wheat conditions are rated 40% fair with 70% of the crop headed, well ahead of average.
