A farmer in central South Dakota says the weekend rains are good news for the crops.
Todd Yackley farms near Onida and tells Brownfield…
“We got anywhere from 1 to 2 inches in our county and surrounding counties had 6 to 10 inches of rain,” he says. “Our rain was perfect. The slow, steady rain came over 36 hours.”
Yackley says the sunflowers, sorghum and corn could use a few more rains before the end of the season and corn just passed pollination.
