Wheat harvest continues in South Dakota.
USDA says spring wheat harvest is 38% complete with conditions rated 36% fair. 87% of South Dakota’s winter wheat is harvested, ahead of average, but in line with last year. Oats are also being harvested, more than halfway complete at the end of the first full week in August.
South Dakota’s corn condition is rated 56% good to excellent with 38% in dough stage and 3% of the crop dented.
