Rain delays winter wheat harvest in Kansas

Widespread rainfall across southern Kansas has delayed winter wheat harvest.

One percent of the crop has been harvested and its rated 56 percent poor-to-very poor.

Corn is rated 64 percent good-to-excellent with 86 percent emerged.

Soybeans are rated 59 percent good-to-excellent and 86 percent of the crop is up.

Pasture and range conditions are 37 percent fair.
