Near-seasonal weather across much of the Heartland, for now

Across the Corn Belt, warm weather has replaced previously cool conditions.  Monday’s high temperatures should reach 90°F or higher as far north as South Dakota and southern sections of Minnesota and Wisconsin.  A cold front approaching the upper Great Lakes region is producing a few showers, but the remainder of the Midwest is experiencing dry weather.  Despite improved Midwestern rainfall in late June and early July, numerous dry spots remain, with varying impacts on corn and soybeans.
