Corn and soybean condition ratings declined in Missouri the final week of July.
The USDA says 25% of the corn is rated good to excellent, a decline of 2 percentage points from the previous week. Missouri’s soybean conditions are rated 28% good to excellent, a decline of 1 percentage point. Both are the lowest good to excellent condition ratings in the country.
More than half of the state’s corn is in the dough stage.
