SHARE NOW

Across the Corn Belt, very warm, mostly sunny weather continues to reduce soil moisture availability for corn and soybean emergence and development.  Any showers are widely scattered and confined to the western Corn Belt.  Friday’s high temperatures should range from 85 to 95°F, with record-setting heat for early June expected in portions of the Great Lakes States and upper Midwest.  A record-dry May was reported in several Midwestern communities, including Omaha, Nebraska, with 0.17 inch.
