Farmers continue to urge Congress to protect crop insurance and other safety net measures in the 2023 Farm Bill.

Keevin Lemenager farms in Monrovia, Indiana and serves as chairman of the Indiana Soybean Alliance (ISA) Membership and Policy Committee.

“Crop insurance is very important. Even when we go get loans at banks, they require crop insurance for certain amounts of lending and it secures that we don’t go backwards,” he says.
