Scattered rain showers helped corn and soybean conditions hold steady last week in Michigan.
The USDA says as of Sunday 36% of the state’s corn crop is in good to excellent condition. Three percent of the crop was silking.
Thirty percent of soybeans are called good to excellent with 23% of the crop blooming and just 1% setting pods.
Winter wheat condition declined to 21% good to excellent with 41% mature.
