TOPEKA, Kan. — Kansans have cast more than 17-thousand votes so far in the first round of the 2023 Coolest Thing Made In Kansas – People’s Choice Tournament.
The competition is fierce during the first round of this year’s tournament. A few of the head-to-head matchups are only a few votes apart. Only the top vote-getter of each match will move on to the next round of the tournament, so Kansans need to make sure they cast their votes before the first round ends.

Kansans have until 5:00 pm CT this Friday, Sept. 22nd to vote in the first round for their favorite products.
Then top eight products move on to the second round of the tournament which will run from 5:00 pm on Monday, Sept. 25th until 5:00 pm on Friday, Oct. 6th.
The final four products in the People’s Choice tournament will compete for the most votes from Oct. 8th to Oct. 23rd.
The winner will be announced during the Kansas Manufacturing Summit on Tuesday, Oct. 24th at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Wichita. The 16 manufacturers featured in the contest will be invited to the Coolest Celebration Reception the night before the summit and be asked to display their products during the summit.
Presented by FORVIS, the annual competition is a great way to learn about the many products manufactured in Kansas.
